The resistivity meter can be easily used to measure resistivity of soil in-situ using the 2, 3, or 4 electrode method or with the soil box to measure resistivity of soil or water in the range of distilled to sea water. It has a wide range (0.01 ohm to 1.1 megohm) in 8 ranges with 10% overlap. It is fully temperature stabilized over temperature ranges encountered in all field conditions; is insensitive to A.C. or D.C. ground currents; can be used safely in wet ground and comes with (1) 12-volt lantern battery and shoulder carrying strap.
